The Boat, s/v Ena

Sailing Vineyard Sound

Ena is a 34' Alden Malabar Sr, a classic wooden sloop designed by John Alden in the tradition of sailing the waters of Vineyard Sound. She was finished by LeCompte in 1954. Traditionally rigged, her hull is mahogany over oak frames. Ena has been in the care of Capt Lynne since 1994.

Captain Lynne is at the helm, holding a 100 ton Masters Coast Guard License. Since 2001, Ena has welcomed passengers of all ages, some for their first time on the water, to experience the joy of sailing on a wooden boat.

At 34' Ena is the perfect size for a close to the water, intimate sail. Learning more about sailing, experience the feeling of taking the tiller, or just lay back and enjoy the sail.
